I have been having so much fun using this online drawing tool (http://mrdoob.com/projects/harmony/#web) I just had to share it with you. Very simple to use, you can change colors, use a variety of very cool drawing effects and the best part… you can save all of your artwork forever and ever. I LOVE it and I’m sure your kids will too! I have already shared this link with my students and will be dedicating some art lessons very soon to explore this tool further while we create some interesting artwork.
Do you know of any other exciting web tools we could all be playing with? 🙂
Here is the quick drawing I made inspired by my recent visit to the Tree of Life.
Cute huh? Now go have some fun!
Psst…

Love this! I hope I can install it on the school computer. I am having fun with it at home (snow day)! Thanks for sharing.
Super cool! There is an app very similar to this on the iPad, can’t think of it off the top of my head, but my little cousins were mesmerized when they were playing around with it!
I’m having a hard time when I click the “online drawing tool” hyperlink. Could you spell out the link? This drawing tool looks awesome, and I’d really like to give it a try!
Hi Kelly. Some of my students have reported the same problem. Some are able to go to the link and others cannot. I think it has to do with which browser you are using, firefox, safari etc. Here is the link: http://mrdoob.com/projects/harmony/#web
I hope this helps and have a ton of fun with the drawing tool. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
